Gov shut down

Been there. Done that. You would be surprised how long most agencies of the Federal Government could shut down before most people would know the difference. "Essential services" continue. Amazing how much if the government isn't

The media’s ‘government shutdown’ doublespeak

www.wnd.com/2013/09/the-medias-government-shutdown...speak

"If you believe the progressive media and the Democrat mantra, the growth of government cannot be reversed. In their eyes and in their lexicon, the only permissible debate is over the rate of growth of government, not its direction. Repealing Obamacare would be an admission that the growth of the federal government can be reversed. To the progressives in Congress and their allies in the media, that is heresy of the highest order."

Amendment 66 mutilates state constitution, enriches greedy bureaucracy | Complete Colorado

completecolorado.com/pagetwo/2013/09/25/amendment-...cracy

"Under its rules, everything else would take a back seat to the demands of the school bureaucracy. Law enforcement would suffer. So would disaster relief, parks, the environment, services for the elderly, health care, our universities, not to mention economic investment and the taxpayers’ own needs."

Tom Tancredo On Colorado Gov. Race: 'Get Rid Of Hickenlooper, This Left-Leaning Wacko Legislature'

www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/25/tom-tancredo-hic....html

"A recent poll from Public Policy Polling found that Hickenlooper is tied with Tancredo in Pueblo, Colo. -- the same Democratic-leaning district that also voted out Democratic Sen. Angela Giron in an historic recall election because of her support for the state's new gun control laws."

Tancredo upbeat about Colo. governor's race, will support GOP nominee

blogs.denverpost.com/thespot/2013/09/24/tom-tancre...00806

Colorado Recalls: It's About More Than Just Guns

www.newsmax.com/John-Gizzi/colorado-recall-tancred...25294

"Along with the gun issue, Tancredo believes that much of the voter anger was fueled by the agenda of the Colorado Democracy Alliance (CoDA), the driving force behind the state going from Republicans controlling the governorship, both U.S. Senate seats, and both houses of the state legislature in 2004 to Democrats controlling all in 2008." www.newsmax.com/CMSPages/GetFile.aspx

Colorado’s incumbent governor quite vulnerable, says analyst

www.onenewsnow.com/politics-govt/2013/09/17/colora...alyst

"In the wake of those recalls, analysts are pondering what this means for incumbent Governor John Hickenlooper, who signed the legislation that angered pro-Second Amendment rights supporters to push for the recalls. Bob Beauprez, a former Colorado congressman, says even before the recall a Quinnipiac poll showed Hickenlooper just one point ahead of former Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo (46%-45%)."

Recall

Clean sweep in recalls!! Most amazing night in Colorado politics! Truly historic and may signal the end of left wing lunacy in this state. Hallelujah!

Recall

An incredible success in El Paso County. Out spent 8 to 1 in a Dem district and we win! Remember however that this doesn't change the law that he crafted. We need a clean sweep in November of 2014

Here is the best line yet. It's from my former chief of staff.
