Gov Hickenlooper's estranged wife Helen, wrote a "book," now made into a "play." I use quotes to indicate it is really a piece of campaign propaganda. Listen to a 30 sec clip from CO Public Radio. The show's host is very liberal yet even he questions her motives. See what this campaign will be like!
In that segment, it is claimed that I wiped a tear from my eye as I talked about the American Flag in a speech that I gave several years ago. Although I have been moved to tears by my own speeches in the past, in this case I was just wiping sweat from my eye. Stage lights can really get hot!

GOP secretly squeezing amnesty through Congress
www.wnd.com/2013/10/gop-secretly-squeezing-amnesty...gress
Republicans will never be able to match the pandering of Democrats on immigration enforcement. No matter how many compromises Republicans make, Democrats will always up the bid.
The only truly smart path out of that box for Republicans is to take a stand on principle, the principle of the rule of law. That means appealing to Hispanic voters on the same issues and with the same sincerity and realism with which they appeal to other voters. A Pew Center poll in June revealed that 40 percent of Hispanic voters support amnesty only after achieving meaningful border security.

America’s dangerous new religion
www.wnd.com/2013/10/americas-dangerous-new-religio...igion
It is a cardinal principle of the new religion that only government has the wisdom, the commitment and the resources to identify and promote green technology. Such technologies do not win private investment because they are not profitable, so the government must step up and do the job private markets will not do.

The desperate media is attempting to help Hick at the expense of the taxpayer
Note the same headline for two different articles...

According to the AP "Hickenlooper is touring the Eastern Plains and southern Colorado this week. His office says the visits are not related to his re-election campaign. But the stops offer the governor valuable face time with voters in rural communities."
Translation: Taxpayers are paying for him to travel the state on a campaign tour.

According to the Durango Herald "The additional $1 billion would go to full-day kindergarten, expanded access to free preschool and other upgrades."

Gaming the system
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/08/12/surge-mexican-illegal-immigrants-claiming-asylum-overwhelms-border-officials/?cmpid=cmty_twitter_fn
The great irony of this is that when a vast majority of these "asylum seekers" are given the opportunity to vote here, they opt for the same big government policies that helped create the conditions from which they now flea. Certainly not unique to immigrants. Look at the attraction of "Obama phones" to the native population.
In years to come I wonder where our children and those of the present day economic refugees will be able to seek asylum.
